This sequel to the WPA American Guide Series will consist of more than 3,000 County Heritage Guides, portions of which will be published online as they are submitted by Volunteers and County Partners. Later, many will be published in print and other media. Submissions not included in a Guide may still be recorded in the National Heritage Database. See the sample Outline and the more detailed Editor's Guide for details about content & organization. Our first active State is Colorado.  

A County Partner is needed to effectively support our work in each County. Presently, we are actively recruiting Partners for the Rocky Mountain region; we can also accept Partners from other States. To accelerate the work in your favorite county, make a donation in its name!
